Easter holiday weekend in Plymouth has traditionally been fantastic and 2013 builds on this with an amazing choice of entertainment and other events both on and off the gay scene.
The weekend kicks of at Hawkins Meeting House on Friday 29th with a new singer on the scene Chealsea Glover on stage at 10pm.
On Saturday 30th at 10 pm the Diamond Queen presents the fabulous Mary Gold – ‘Dragging in Spring’
The Clarence host it’s popular ‘Bittersweet Symphony Karaoke ” from 7.30pm
DJ Twinkle (the larger than life nun) returns dishing out a mix of camp classics, gay favourites and request at Hawkins from 10pm.
Bank Holiday Sunday‘s have become legendary at Hawkins FREE BBQ and back to back live entertainment into the night. This year they have the BBQ from 4pm and the first act up is Jazmin 7 – 9pm, followed by Jo James 9-11pm and ending the night with Sarah Q 11 – 1am.
Easter Sunday – Enjoy a proper Roast Dinner at the Old Friary cooked by Chief Euten – Fusion Cuisine have partnered with the Old Friary offering food inspired by the Caribbean through the week – take away service available.

There is loads going on at the Plymouth Barbican this Easter with a Mad Hatter Tea Party, Easter Market, Barbershop Quartet, and the Tall Ship SV Irene will be in the harbour and open to the public.
