Pride in Plymouth and the Plymouth LGBT Archive will be at the Mayday Festival being held on May 4th at Devonport Guildhall to celebrate ‘International Workers Day’ the event is organised by Plymouth Trades Council and is supported by the majority of Trade Unions. Trade Unions have been instrumental in the fight for equality and continue to fight for human rights across the globe.
Most Trade unions have LGBT networks that challenge homophobia and transphobia in the workplace and are actively involved in local, national, and international LGBT rights campaigns.
The Plymouth Mayday Festival at Devonport Guildhall will be open between 12 midday to 12 midnight, with Rally, workshops, radical cinema and live music from Robb Johnson, Crazy Arm, Fashionably Late and many others. Good food, and a licensed bar. ENTRY IS FREE before 7pm then £5 waged and £3 claimants.
